“Corsagely Yours” addiction.

Hi, my name is Cynthia and I am an addict. My addiction is a healthy one mind you. Being a diehard accessories queen, I have trained my eyes to spot the unusual gems that add a certain va va voom to my wardrobe.

The recession and tightening of my purse strings does not bode well with my addiction, however there is always a bargain somewhere to be had. This beautiful bargain comes in the shape of “corsages”, more specifically Pauline Brobbey’s “Corsagely Yours” range. They are unusual, unique, bespoke, versatile and brings out the creative and stylish diva in you; a definite conversation starter.

Words simply cannot describe these corsages… grab one, (two, three) quickly and you will be amazed how much fun you can have with them.

Currently I am using one of my many Corsages to vamp up my old favourite handbag as seen in this photo.

Anansekrom 2011

Anansekrom 2011 was great fun! The day started and ended with rain but we made the most of the few dry and bright sunny hours we were blessed with. My corsages and hairbands went down so well as did the face-painting. The new location. Modern Hall Park, is definitely a great choice. Here’s to better weather next year!

In February 2006, the British Female Inventors & Innovators Network (BFIIN) nominated Alternatives for her range of African Inspired Christmas Decorations. The collection was exhibited at London’s prestigious Guildhall and received many commendations.

Showcasing

Alternatives is also an active member of the Bexley Afro Caribbean Cultural Association (BACCA) and recently joined the group in exhibiting at the Danson Festival 2007. Alternatives has also showcased its products at a number of venues and fairs: these include Adornment, The W3 Shopping Centre in London, Aklowa and Anansekrom.

School Workshops

Running school workshops is also becoming a regular activity. Recent institutions visited have been Lammas School, in Leyton and Mayplace Primary School, in Barnehurst, Kent.
